It's a small world

I also work in the museum on Great Cranberry which is a fun job because I get to talk all day. Haha! Today I met a couple from Rock Hill, SC. They were familiar with Statesville/Mocksville and even knew one of my former NC employers! They got a kick out of meeting a Carolina girl on a remote Maine island and we talked for a long time. They were looking for Bob Lacey (of the Bob & Sheri Morning Show on the radio) but I told them Bob stays on Little Cranberry (aka Islesford) so they plan to travel there tomorrow. Everybody at the museum was oooing and ahhing at their accents and said I talked more hillbilly when I was talking to them. Last week a couple from Hickory came in and I was bummed to not be working that day.
